Took my teen son out for the night. He had the most memorable experience actually being at a meet and is still talking about it! I don't think any of his friends have been able to top that for summer break vacation stories this year 3) Tour operator/guide was the best - knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and fully J/E bilingual. I asked to skip the car parts shop stop at the end as my son is still a bit young for that kind of shopping (you can bet he's saving up for that when his time comes, lol). Unless it's something like the weather or unforseen road closures, I would trust them to take great care of you, from pick up point and back (mine was hotel). Just make sure you have a way to communicate with them if you don't have local cell phone service. An important point for me when choosing this tour was that they WILL follow local laws despite meet locations not being public - no need to push boundaries at night in Tokyo on vacation with my kiddos! We had great time with David! If you want to go to Daikoku and don't know how, this is the perfect way. David picked us up on time and drove us safely to Daikoku in his luxurious Vellfire. We had some great talks since his english is very good. He gave us some nice insights about Japanese culture and Japanese cars. At Daikoku we saw some amazing cars. They had all the JDM Cars like Nissan GTRs, Supras, Rx-7 etc. They even had some supercars like Lomborgini, MacLaren and Ferrari. It was just like in the Movies. Sadly the police shut down the place at 8:30, so if you want some more time, try going a little earlier.
