Took my teen son out for the night. He had the most memorable experience actually being at a meet and is still talking about it! I don't think any of his friends have been able to top that for summer break vacation stories this year 3) Tour operator/guide was the best - knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and fully J/E bilingual. I asked to skip the car parts shop stop at the end as my son is still a bit young for that kind of shopping (you can bet he's saving up for that when his time comes, lol). Unless it's something like the weather or unforseen road closures, I would trust them to take great care of you, from pick up point and back (mine was hotel). Just make sure you have a way to communicate with them if you don't have local cell phone service. An important point for me when choosing this tour was that they WILL follow local laws despite meet locations not being public - no need to push boundaries at night in Tokyo on vacation with my kiddos! Tokyo: Daikoku JDM Car Meet & Night Drive in a Sports Car

This was an amazing experience. These guys went above and beyond to make sure me and my friends had the best experience possible. We met up with Johnny and Tony who took us to Daikoku PA where we got to cruise with some JDM legends on our way to the parking area, which felt surreal. Johnny and Tony were super fun and good drivers aswell which made the experience so much better. I had also mentioned to Tony I really wanted to see an RX-7 FD up close, and this is where these guys were phenomenal and went above and beyond for us: we went to meet a third driver, Yu, which showed us his RX-7 FD and his E46 M3. We stayed with Yu for like an hour and a half just talking and enjoying both cars. They went out of their way to make sure we got our dream fulfilled. This was the experience we could only dream of when planning one of these tours and I will forever be grateful. I would 100% recommend these guys and if I ever come back to Japan, I will definitely book again with them, no doubt!!

We had a wonderful experience with Saim as our driver and guide for the day he picked us up right on time from our hotel, which we really appreciated. Tokyo: Private JDM Daikoku Tour & Custom Car Experience

My son and I had the most amazing experience with Ibuki! I can’t imagine experiencing not only Daikoku but an entire Yokohama Bay tour with anyone else. Ibuki provided an experience that was even more than described and his pricing was very competitive compared to others. Please note that other tour guides are not natives to Japan and ‘outsiders’ looking to exploit the culture but not Ibuki because he is born and raised in the Yokohama area. Ibuki spoke great English which made the experience better for us overall and even shared some personal stories like how his grandfather even took his old Skyline to Daikoku over 40 years ago. Ibuki taught us about ‘Yokohama Style’ and even more about the culture. He picked us up in his beautiful Lexus RC and as we rolled through Daikoku there were people taking pictures of his ride! I give Ibuki 5 Stars and recommend him to anyone looking for a white glove, first class experience! I can’t wait until he is able to visit California.

Tokyo JDM Daikoku PA Car Meet LEXUS RC Tour from Yokohama

There was a mix up with our booking where we booked an R34 for the Toyota Chaser price but when we asked them about it they were very friendly and kind and allowed us to have the R34 but with less stops! Very good customer service! Then the experience its self was amazing! Our guide Tomoya was very friendly and accommodating and even came equipped with translator’s so we could ask him questions naturally! The meet its self had a lot of amazing cars and Tomoya even pointed out some and chatted with us. He let us go where we wanted to go and helped us with any questions we had. He even said we could stay as long as we wanted at not extra charge as we only made the one stop at Daikoku PA! Afterwards he even said he could drop us at the hotel! Overall the experience was amazing, with an amazing guide, excellent customer service ensuring we knew where to meet and an amazing overall experience with all the cars! Highly recommend it as it’s great value for money!

The car tour led by Elena on her beautiful Porsche Macan was absolutely amazing. We were able to experience everything to its fullest potential. Our first stop was at Autobacs, where I took quite a bit of time deciding on which items to buy, but Elena was incredibly patient and waited for us. Next, we headed to Daikoku PA, where I had the opportunity to explore the area and take pictures of cars I love. Our final stop was Tokyo Tower. Elena shared interesting facts about the locations and attractions along the way. At each stop, she made sure to point out places to visit or things to do in the area, enhancing our experience. Daikoku cars meet experience by Porsche Macan

Tokyo Night JDM Car Culture Cruise — Daikoku PA Experience

I had a truly special night. The drive that evening was unforgettable—an incredible experience that will stay with me forever. They picked me up at my hotel, and the guide welcomed me wearing a lovely outfit. Tokyo at night had a unique atmosphere unlike anything in my home country—beautiful, like a scene from a movie. Had a great night with our guide Syed. He had great communications from the point of booking. On the night he arrived on time despite heavy traffic. When we arrived to Daikoku we were unlucky as the police had just shut the parking. Straightaway Syed knew what to do and swiftly had us at another secret location that the cars had moved on to. My JDM experience was awesome! I was originally supposed to ride in the van, but I got upgraded to join Michael in his sedan — which was such a cool surprise because the ride was really nice. Our first stop was Apit, which took about 30 minutes to get to, then we headed to the Daikoku parking area for an hour. For the final stop, we got to choose between visiting Tokyo Tower or going to another car meet, and we decided on Tokyo Tower. Seeing it lit up at night was such a great way to end the trip, and of course, we took some photos. I also got to share the experience with a couple I just met that night, and they turned out to be really nice people. Overall, the tour was a fantastic deal — it was actually the cheapest JDM experience I found online, but it definitely didn’t feel cheap!

Still processing how insane our JDM Daikoku night was. This wasn’t some cookie-cutter tour. Our guide was actually a local who’s part of the car culture, and it completely changed the experience. Instead of just being dropped off Ike many of the other people at the car meet, we were plugged into what was actually happening. You could feel the difference. Daikoku itself is unreal.rows of wild builds, people genuinely passionate about what they’re doing. The police ended up showing up as we were leaving, so timing was perfect. Easily one of the most unique experiences I’ve had in Japan. Going with a smaller, local-led group made it way better than what you’d get with the big tour companies. If you’re even thinking about doing this — do it. 100% worth it.

Ride JDM Car to the Daikoku CarMeet(R34, Evo9, Silvia, GR86)

We were picked up from our chosen restaurant in Shinjuku. The guides were flexible with the collection point and very accommodating. My sister, my parents, and I were split between two Nissan R34s, driven by professionals. On the way, we stopped by a specialist driver shop—full of car mods and parts you can buy. Then we joined the rest of the group and drove out toward Daikoku Parking Area. It was golden hour. The highway tunnels were incredible, with safe but thrilling driving, and we were encouraged to film throughout. At Daikoku PA, we had an hour to explore. The place was packed—hundreds of modified cars, enthusiasts taking photos, showing off builds. The return drive was just as exciting. Highly recommend.

Daikoku PA:A private Daikoku tour in a customised R34!

We had a great evening with K.K. He picked us up directly at our hotel, and from there we went straight to the Daikoku Parking Area. Driving across the Rainbow Bridge, surrounded by modified cars, felt almost like being in a movie. Even though it was a weekday, we were lucky – the parking area was lively and full of interesting cars. It was a unique experience to witness this side of Tokyo’s car culture up close. Throughout the tour, we felt completely safe and well taken care of. Afterwards, we headed towards Tokyo Tower and made a short stop there. In the end, K.K. drove us comfortably back to our hotel. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Japan! I wasn't planning on doing a tour, but when I saw the private tour with Akira, I figured it was too good of a deal to pass up, I'm glad I didn't. Akira is clearly a car guy. The C63 is meticulously maintained, and Akira drives it with the utmost care while still making it enjoyable for his passengers. I saw more rare JDM cars than I could have imagined, especially for a Sunday night. The shop around at Shinnonome APIT was a nice surprise; the store is huge.
